Pendragon Software Releases Picture Calendar Software

for Palm OS Handhelds

LIBERTYVILLE, Illinois, March 25, 2002 -- Pendragon Software today released two applications that will enable users to create and display picture calendars for Palm OS handheld devices that are integrated with the built-in Date Book.

The growth in popularity of color and high-resolution devices has fueled the demand for image-oriented applications.  From photo albums to puzzles, consumers have quickly found ways to add pictures to their handhelds.

The patent-pending Pendragon Calendar Viewer bridges the gap between entertainment and functionality for picture applications.  Calendars have a familiar wall-calendar design and can be used as an interface for the built-in handheld Date Book.  Users can view scheduled appointments or click through to the Date Book from their personalized calendar.  

A companion desktop product, the Pendragon Calendar Builder, is used to assemble pictures and events and to generate the calendars for the handheld. The streamlined visual design tool features a handheld screen preview and installation prompts, allowing even novice handheld users to create calendars.  

The Pendragon Calendar Viewer runs on Palm Powered handhelds using Palm OS(R) 3.3 and higher and supports Sony CLIE ™ 320x320 high resolution screens.  The Pendragon Calendar Builder desktop software requires Windows 98 or higher.  Both applications are now available as a bundle for $19.95, or sold separately, at www.pendragonsoftware.com/calendar.
